Our Wildlife Trail
Every visit to Raptor Hallow is a little different because nature never stands still. Wander our ¼ mile of wooded trails, encounter ambassador animals up close, and discover wildlife stories that inspire curiosity and conservation.
From quiet moments observing owls to thrilling encounters with soaring raptors, this is an experience designed to spark wonder in all ages.

Flights of Wonder Bird Show
Feel the rush as hawks, owls, and other birds fly freely above the audience in one of Northeast Ohio’s most unforgettable wildlife experiences. There are two kinds of shows and experiences featuring different birds that you don’t want to miss!
Led by expert trainers, these seasonal shows blend storytelling, conservation messaging, and jaw-dropping moments you’ll talk about long after you leave.

Throughout your visit, you’ll encounter spontaneous pop-up experiences that bring the sanctuary to life. From informal keeper chats and hands-on exploration stations to breathtaking fly-bys where birds soar freely across the landscape, these moments happen naturally throughout the day—making every visit completely unique. You never know what incredible wildlife encounter awaits around the next bend.

Your general admission ticket gets you in to our ¼ mile trail featuring various wildlife exhibits, flights of wonder bird shows, keeper chats, and education stations. Private encounters may be offered the day of at a discounted rate — just ask our welcome center attendant when you check in.

We offer free on-site parking. Handicapped parking is available near the Welcome Center.

Most areas are wheelchair/walker/stroller accessible except the hiking trails.

We do not have access to wheel chairs at this time.

Strollers are permitted on the trails, the bigger the wheels the better. Strollers are not allowed in the Flights of Wonder Amphitheatre, but stroller parking is available.

No one besides staff and volunteers are permitted to stand during the show. This is for the public’s safety, as well as the safety of the animals.

Pets are not permitted on the trails at Raptor Hallow. Service Animals are allowed on the Raptor Hallow Trail but will not be able to go into the flights of wonder bird show. This is for the safety of the service animal and our birds.

Raptor Hallow is a smoke free facility, including electronic vaping devices.

We are closed on New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Our open days and hours change seasonally. Please make sure to check out our website for our current hours before arriving.

There are some snacks and drinks in Raptor Hallow’s Welcome Center and Gift Shop.

Flash photography is not permitted in the animal areas or during the Flight of Wonders Bird Show.

Guided tours are not offered, but if you choose to book a field trip, tours are given.

We do have a pavilion that has many picnic tables. These are first come first serve. You can call ahead and reserve our pavilion for large parties, rental fees may apply.
