Snowy Owl Naming Contest

Help Us Name Our Snowy Owl!

Did you know snowy owls are one of the largest owl species in the world, with females weighing up to 6 pounds and boasting a wingspan of nearly 5 feet? These stunning owls are well adapted for life in the Arctic—snow-white feathers keep them camouflaged on the tundra, and unlike many other owls, they are often active during the day, especially in the endless summer light of the far north!

Raptor Hallow Sanctuary is thrilled to welcome our very own snowy owl to the ambassador team. She’s only a few months old and is already stealing hearts with her spunky personality. Right now, she’s in training to become an education ambassador—learning to step up and sit on glove voluntarily, and one day she will even be trained for free flight!

Now we need YOUR help to give her the perfect name! We’ve narrowed it down to four options that we think suit her perfectly:
❄️ Hedwig
❄️ Nyra
❄️ Rebecca
❄️ Denali

Here’s how you can vote: Every $1 = 1 vote. The more you donate, the more votes you cast for your favorite name! All proceeds go toward the care of our animals and the continuation of our mission to connect people with wildlife.
